IQ3 Display Dash available for the G2X
G2X owners looking for the features of the IQ3 logger dash can now utilize the IQ3 display dash. The IQ3 display dash provides all the display features included with the IQ3 logger dash, but without the internal data logger, memory card and G meters. Adding the IQ3 display dash to a G2X is accomplished the same as an external sensor, through the Vnet input (AUX on black G2X models).

G2X Red Data Logger
The latest version of the G2X data logger is now available. While the software features are the same as the black G2X, there are slight hardware differences. Click here or select the "Kit Details" button above for information on the G2X Red Kit.
Lower Cost G2X Red Data Logger Package now available
It is now possible to purchase the G2X Red package without the dash. This provides a reduced cost entry level data system and provides the ability to upgrade to either the G2X display dash or the soon to be released IQ3 display dash. 600-KT-G2XRND – $699.00
Predictive Lap Time firmware update now available
Select the Downloads button and navigate to the Firmware Updates section. Complete instructions are included with the downloaded firmware file.
DatalinkII V3.0 now available. This version includes the following:
- 1. Predictive Lap Time Enabled: The use of the new Predictive Lap Time feature requires both the firmware update (available in the Downloads section) installed in the G2X and the use of Datalink V3.0 software.
- 2. COM Port Locator: Assists in determine COM port number when utilizing a USB to Serial Adapter.
- 3. Additional Demo data: Boat, Pulling and Circle Track demo runs are now loaded in the latest DatalinkII software.
Select the Downloads button in Main Menu area and navigate to the Software downloads section.
Universal Sensor Module now available
Responding to the requests of providing a more cost effective method of inputting existing 0-5V sensors, event, rpm or 2 wire resistive temperature sensors into the G2X, the USM is now available. The USM provides the ability to input and program up to 4 sensors. Any of the 4 inputs can be programmed as 0-5V/RPM/Event/Temperature. An internal terminal strip provides 5 or 12V power, ground, shield and signal connections for each sensor. See the Hardware / Sensors section for additional details.

There has always been some confusion on both the cost and ability to add customer supplied sensors to the G2X. The answer is of course you can. If you have a 0-5V or 0-12V powered sensor that returns a 0-5V signal to the data logger, all you will need is either our 0-5 Vnet module (PN: 230-VM-AN-5 / $119.00) or a 0-12V Vnet module (PN: 230-VM-AN-12 / $119.00). Each sensor requires a module. We also offer Vnet modules for Type K thermocouples but always recommend using our thermocouples, as they are specifically spec'd and manufactured for Racepak motor sports usage.
As with any of our sensors, all the sensor data is routed back to the G2X by means of an Aux to Vnet cable. This single cable allows the customer to transmit the data from up to 12 Vnet sensors and modules back to the data logger.
Remember that a Vnet module creates a smart sensor, allowing you to almost plug and play the sensor onto the G2X. This reduces installation and setup complexity, while providing hardware that is specifically designed for motor sports usage.
